RAYNHAM – William D. Faria of Raynham, MA, died at Milton Hospital on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015.
He was 71.
Born in Fayal, Azores, he was educated in Stoughton, and moved to this area many years ago.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Dutra) Faria. He worked at the Quincy Shipyard as a crane operator and also as a selector for Agar Foods. He loved Ford Mustangs, the New England Patriots, pizza and deep sea fishing.
Survivors include his two sons, David W. Faria and his wife Jessica of Raynham and William D. Faria, Jr. of Brockton; his former wife, Jo-Ann (Rogers) Faria; two grandchildren, David James Faria and Avery Helen Faria both of Raynham; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Joseph, Manuel, Mario and Azzaro Faria and the late Maria Rodrigues.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, Nov.19th at 7 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
