Arlene R. (Fairbanks) Davignon, age 84, passed away on Nov. 14, 2015 at home. She was born on Jan. 17, 1931 in Grafton, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Agnes (Paquette) Fairbanks. Arlene worked for Halmar Distributors for many years. She was a communicant of Holy Name Parish. She is predeceased by her husband, Ernest Davignon, who passed away in 2012. She leaves her two daughters Sandy Martinelli of Chicopee and Debra Shea of Rockport, MA; her sister Beatrice Brodeur of FL. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Beth Shea, Daniel Davignon and his wife Kate and Joseph and Carl Martinelli and several great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandchild Nicole Martinelli. Calling hours will be held on the Morning of the Funeral, Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Assumption Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery in South Hadley.
