Cheryl A. (Grant) Soriano, age 65 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2015. Cheryl was born in Boston on July 20, 1950. She was a graduate of East Boston High School. Cheryl Soriano dedicated her entire life to her family. Her children and grandchildren were paramount in her world and they will miss her deeply. Cheryl also spent countless hours feeding the homeless and was actively involved with the Homeless Coalition Foundation in Florida as well as Habitat for Humanity. Cheryl's faith in God allowed her to dance through life happily.
Mrs. Soriano was formerly married to Walter A Soriano Sr. Cheryl was the devoted mother of Walter A. Soriano II and his wife Meg of Dracut, Stephanie Soriano-Mills and her husband Cornell of Boston, Stacey Marcotte and her husband Paul of Atkinson, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Janel, Alex, Christian, Amaris, Lily, Jonathan, Kingston, Jacob and Sophie. Mrs. Soriano was the dear sister of Larry Pray, Sean Pray, and Terrence Pray. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Cheryl is predeceased by her 2 sisters Karen Yergeau and Alicia Richardson.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 9:00 AM at St. Monica’s Church of Methuen. Interment to follow at Atkinson Cemetery of Atkinson, NH.
