HOEY-ALOISE, Dorothy (Cole)- Of Hopewell, Virginia, formerly of Chelsea, November 13th. Former wife of Robert Loper of Floreida and the late Francis Hoey and William Aloise. Devoted mother of Debra Loper-Kennedy of Woburn, Donna O'Brien of Hopewell, Virginia and Dorothy Loper of Disputanta, Virginia. Beloved sister of the late Frank Cole, William Colw, Margaret Burley, Barbara Cole-Penney and Robert Cole. Cherished grandmother of Kelli-Ann Loper, Robert Heffernen, David Loper, Alicia Loper, Dawn-Marie Hernandez, Edward DiGiulio, Jr., Christopher Loper, Robert Loper and the late Jenna Loper. Loving great grandmother of Anthony Loper, William Stevens, Robert Loper, Jonathan Loper, Savanah Feaster, Shawna Mae Loper, Trent Loper, Joseph Hernandez-DiGiulio, Justin Dorriety, Jacob Loper, Gabriel Loper, Gianna Loper, Manny Loper, Jaxson Heffernan, Raiden Loper, Jenna-Marie Hernandez, Ava-Marie Berkley, Edward DiGiulio, Jr, Angela DiGiulio, Anthony DiGiulio and the late David Loper, Jr. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday, November 20th at 10 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Born in Chelsea and a resident here until 7 years ago, when she moved to Virginia to be closer to her daughters, Dottie passed away Friday afternoon at the Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia at the age of 79. During her working years she was a home health aide and worked for the Chelsea Soldiers Home.
