C. J. Kershner, 64, passed away November 6 following a long illness. Born in Burlington, VT, he attended NYU, studied with abstract artist Ilya Bolotovsky, and became a widely acclaimed abstract impressionist with works spanning five decades. He leaves his brothers, Steven C. Kershner, Princeton, NJ and Robert M. Kershner, Palm Beach, Fl. Contributions can be made in his name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
