Marie J. Rousseau, 91, of Nashua, NH, formerly of Peabody, MA, passed Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1924 in Lawrence, MA and was a daughter of the late Theotime and Alice (Albert) Gallien. She was raised in Shirley, MA and lived many years in Peabody, prior to relocating to NH in 1986.
Mrs. Rousseau worked for 25 years as a production assistant at Sylvania Corp. She enjoyed camping with her family and traveling. She will forever be remembered as the “Greatest Grandmother a child could have”. Her memory will live on in them forever.
Members of the family include her daughter, Linda Luciano of Nashua, her son Jeffrey Rousseau, of Windham, five grandchildren, Justin, Melanie, Corey, Jessica and Daniel. Five, great grandchildren, Juliana, Jeanine, Rylie, Logan and Camryn and two surviving brothers, Albert and Robert Gallien as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Rousseau.
A Liturgy of the word was celebrated Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10 am, at St. Matthews Parish, Searles Road in Windham, NH. The burial followed at Cemetery on the Plain in Windham.
