Elena Imperato, 93, died early Tuesday morning at the Winchester Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph Imperato.
Born and raised in Boston, she later setteled in Revere after her marriage, where she has been a resident for over fifty years. She was the daughter of the late Angiolina (Pincioro) and Dominic Lombardozzi. Elena retired from the Commonwealth of MA, workingmens compensation division, where she worked for over twenty years as a supervisor. She was a communicant at St. Anthony Parish in Revere for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Eleanor Dunn and her husband Dan of Burlington and a sister Pauline Castanino of Reading.
She was predeceased by her four brother´s Anthony, Victor, Guido and Alfred Lombardozzi, and three sisters, Linda and Lucy Lombardozzi and Rose DeVito.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Friday, June 3, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Visiting Hours at the funeral home will be on Thursday, June 2, from 4 thru 8.
