SOMERSET - Mario S. Henriques, age 85, of Somerset, passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he was the Husband and Partner of Bella (Nunes) Henriques and the son of the late Antonio and Sara (Santos) Henriques. Prior to retiring, Mario worked for Plymouth Rubber Co. as a Machine Operator. He was an Avid Soccer Fan and Player for the Fall Sports Club and the Academica Club, and was instrumental in bringing the sport of Soccer to the Fall River area. He was also a collector of the Arts.
In addition to his Wife, he is survived by his Children: Donald Henriques (Companion Anna Andrews) of Palm Coast, FL and Annie Raposo (Husband Victor) of Somerset; 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews. He was the Brother of the late Orlando Henriques.
His funeral with visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
