NATICK: Gregg A. Lamont, age 49, a Natick resident and electrician with Local 103 of the IBEW, died suddenly on Wednesday evening, November 4, 2015, at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. He had been the devoted husband of Andrea L. (DiMaggio) Lamont.
Born, raised, and educated in Natick, he was a son of Lorraine L. (Medeiros) Lamont of Natick and the late David W. Lamont. Gregg was a 1984 graduate of Natick High School, having concurrently earned his electrician’s certificate. He continued his education as a journeyman under Larry Forshner of Natick and later established himself as Gregg Lamont Electric in Natick.
Gregg and Andrea married and started a family. At that time he started work with the Town of Natick Water Department, later returning to electrical work, employed through Local 103. An enthusiastic Patriots fan, Gregg enjoyed time with his children at the beach and the occasional fishing trip.
In addition to his wife and mother, Gregg is survived by his son, Jake Lamont and daughter, Hailey Lamont of Natick; three brothers, David Lamont and his wife Patricia of Pelham, NH, Thomas Lamont and his wife Rachel of Folsom, CA, and James Lamont of Natick; his parents-in-law, Frank and Pat (Slamin) DiMaggio of Natick; sister-in-law, Barbara Chandler of Natick; brothers-in-law, Robert DiMaggio of Marlborough, and Stephen DiMaggio of Franklin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
