SPRINGFIELD - Mark Aronofsky, age 57, died unexpectedly at the Baystate Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 5, after suffering an apparent heart attack the previous Monday.
Mark was born in Woburn in October 1958, a son of the late Robert S. Aronofsky Sr., and the late Frances A. (Coffey) Aronofsky and was raised in Tewksbury, where he graduated from T.M.H.S. with the class of 1976. In 1977 he enlisted into the U.S. Navy, and was honorably discharged in 1981.
Mark was employed as a fork lift operator at the West Rock company.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert S. Aronofsky Jr., and his wife Gloria (Kirklan) of Jacksonville, FL and Paul F. Aronofsky and his wife Dotty (McPhee) of Hudson, NH; a sister, Marianne Aronofsky of Litchfield, NH; his dear friends Sherri Rachael and Pete and Trina Bohenko all of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by his brother Wayne Aronofsky.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday, November 14, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph.
