JAMES H. "JIM" WILCOX, 87, went to be with his Lord on November 6, 2015.
He was a retired 20 year employee of J. C. Penney and a retired 20 year employee of Owen Funeral Home.
Jim was a 65 year lifetime member of the Valley Lodge # 511 and Shawnee Lodge #830; Kosair Shrine Provost Unit past president, Greeter and Chanter; Kentucky Colonel; 32nd Degree KCCH Scottish Rite; and was an ordained deacon with South Jefferson Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Virgil Lee and Ida Wilcox.
Survivors include his sister, Myrtice Morgan.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in New Highland Baptist Church Cemetery, Brandenburg, KY.
Visitation will be from 3:00–7:00 p.m. Monday.
