Obituary

Leonard Earl Reed, 76, of Grandview, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Harborview Medical Center.
He was born on November 13, 1938 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Earl and Opal (Christen) Reed. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 until being transferred into the U.S. Army Reserve in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1964. He made his home in Prosser in 1969. Leonard married Teresa McManigal on September 21, 1971. He worked at Twin City Foods for over thirty years as a production supervisor until retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Prosser Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and traveling including thirteen years wintering in Yuma, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Teresa of Grandview; four children, Karl Reed and his wife, Angie of Wyoming, Monique Jones of Craig, Colorado, Rita Culpepper of Pasco and Theron Jones and his wife, Annette of Prosser; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Roy Reed of Talent, OR, Lloyd Reed of Payson, Utah and Bob Reed of American Fork, Utah; his sister, Gwendolyn Tolbert of Puyallup; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Juanita Sterry, Wionna Sterry, Rosalee Sterry and Myrna Austin.
Visitation will be held at Prosser Funeral Home on Friday, November 6th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 7th at the Prosser Cemetery.
