Obituary

Kelsey Lin Lenfest, 22, of Londonderry, NH died Friday October 30, 2015 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kelsey was born in Derry, NH on September 24, 1993. She was raised in Londonderry and was a 2012 graduate of Londonderry High School where she was involved with the color guard, chorus, the band and stage crew. Kelsey also enjoyed Judo and lacrosse. Kelsey attended UMass Lowell where she served as a tour guide her freshman year. While there she also played rugby, was a stage manager, and served as an RA. Kelsey was a very generous person, donating her hair and her blood. Kelsey was employed at TD Bank, and currently worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS in Londonderry. She enjoyed the Bruins, music, poetry, travelling to Italy, art, movies, soulfest, hanging with friends, baby watching, and reading.

She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Lenfest of Columbus, OH, her brother, Devin Lenfest of Manchester, NH, her half-brother Jared Nault and siblings of Manchester, NH, her maternal grandmother, Linda Poole of Londonderry, her maternal grandfather, Frank Lenfest, Sr. of Derry, her great-grandmother, Ruth Burleson of Fairfax, VT, three uncles, Frank Lenfest, Jr., Plant City, FL, Mark Lenfest and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH, Jason Poole and his wife Melanie of Charlestown, MA, and cousins, Isabella and Alexander Lenfest of Salem, NH. She is also survived by several great aunts and great uncles and second cousins, and many, many great friends. In addition, she leaves the love of her life, Levi Pierce, US Army Special Forces stationed in Ft. Bragg, NC who was at her side day and night while in the hospital.

She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Bill Poole and Gaston Nault, and by her great-grandparents, Linc Burleson and Roger and Frances Lenfest.

Following cremation, a celebration of Kelsey’s life was held on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 12 – 4pm at Mack’s Apple Orchard, at the Lookout Pavillion, Adams Road location (U-pick #2) in Londonderry, NH. Following Kelsey's wishes her family chose to donate her organs. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Kelsey was a champion for the exploited and the abused. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
