Amaral, Lillian A. (Almeida) 84, of Carver formerly of Plymouth, passed away at the Life Care Center of Plymouth on November 3. Beloved wife of John J. Amaral of Carver. Mother of David of Plymouth Steven and his wife Jane of Sandwich, Maureen Curtis and her husband David of Plymouth. Sister of the late Florence Kilroy. She also leaves 3 grandchildren J.J., Peter, and Kate, and several nieces and nephews.
Lillian was born in Plymouth the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Valente) Almeida. She graduated from Plymouth High School Class of 1949. She worked as an operator for New England Telephone and as a cashier for Stop and Shop. Lillian enjoyed travel, bingo, going to the casinos, and she was in the knitting group at South Meadow Village. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth on Thursday November 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 6, in St Mary’s Parish at 10:00 AM leaving from the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Plymouth.
