SALEM- Mary Elizabeth Thornton, 56, of Salem, died Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester, following a long illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Charlotte A. (Barry) Thornton. Raised and educated in Boston, she was a resident of Salem since 1978.
She is survived by one brother, John R. Thornton of Salem, one sister, Wilma S. Pennell of San Diego, CA, three nieces, Charlotte Thornton, Kayla Thornton, Kelsey Thornton, all of Salem, and one grand nephew, Max Terenzi of Salem
A memorial service will be held on Thursday evening, June 2, 2005 at 7 pm in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
