Juliano, Linda L. of Wellesley, MA and Nantucket, Mass died on November 1, 2015. Linda was a loving and compassionate influence to all who knew her throughout her life. She was 62 years old.
Mrs. Juliano passed away surrounded by her family after a long battle with bladder cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The family would like to publicly thank the many doctors, nurses and support staff at MGH for their amazing dedication, professionalism and support during her difficult illness.
Linda lived a life marked by passion, unselfishness and a desire to always put others ahead of herself. She is survived by her husband Philip, son Philip Jr. and daughter-in-law Samantha along with her grandson Philip Michael, sons Wesley and Brett and daughter Brittany. She is also survived by her parents, Dr. Armand and Natalie Lefemine, brothers Steven and David and sister Carolyn.
Mrs. Juliano was a graduate of Trinity College in Washington DC. After marrying Philip Juliano they lived for five years in Manhattan where they began their long and happy journey together and later moved to Wilton, Ct where they raised four children during their over 20 years there. Most recently Linda and Phil relocated to Wellesley MA, close to where they both grew up and closer still to her beloved island of Nantucket. Linda was always known as a woman of many talents, boundless energy and worked hard to care for all those around her. On top of her role as a loving wife and grandmother, Linda had her own interior design studio, Captains Lane Interiors, brilliantly decorating the homes of clients in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. She was also a fantastic cook, entertainer and hostess to countless social, civic and charitable events. Linda was involved in many non-profit efforts throughout her life, including work with the Junior League of America, Visiting Nurses Association and Catholic Charities of America.
A Funeral Mass for Linda will be held at St. Paul Church, 502 Washington St. Wellesley on Friday, November 6, at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. Wellesley Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
