Obituary


Judith Howard, of Manchester, NH passed away during the evening of November 1, 2015 after a six month battle with cancer. She was surrounded for days by family and friends.
Judith was born on August 8, 1940 the daughter of Gertrude Gagnon Guilbert and Maurice Guilbert.
She is predeceased by her first husband Robert L’Heureux and her second husband Harold Howard.
In her life, Judy was employed with UPS for 25 years and after her retirement, went back to school to earn a Masters degree in Psychology. She went on to become a professor with Hesser College, a role she enjoyed.
She also gave of herself in service to the church volunteering to counsel others who struggled in their personal lives.
She leaves behind three children and eight grandchildren including Stephen L'Heureux and his wife Lisa and their three children Chad, Chase and Gabrielle of Hooksett, NH; David L’Heureux and his daughter Katelyn of Manchester, NH and Jennifer L’Heureux Desaulnier, her husband Chris and her four children Coby Cail, Emma Cail, Max Desaulnier and Nicolas Desaulnier.
She also leaves behind two brothers Maurice Guilbert and his wife Rita of Manchester and Gerald Guilbert and his wife Judy of Rotunda, FL.
Additionally, she leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Above all else, Judy was a grandmother. Their world was her world. Birthday lunches, ice cream drives, a visit to see the pets in the Mall and the unlimited Mema sleepovers consumed her free time. She adored them all.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester. Urn burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
