Madeline “Maddie” Lamson, 17, of Medway died Friday night, October 30, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Alyson (Stover) Lamson.
Born in Framingham on April 18, 1998, Maddie was a lifelong resident of Medway and was currently a senior at Medway High School.
A talented three sport varsity athlete, Maddie was captain and four year starting goalie of the field hockey team, co-captain and member of the ice hockey team, and member of the lacrosse team.
Maddie worked at the high school branch of the Charles River Bank and had planned to attend Wheaton College in the fall of 2016.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother Matthew Lamson of Medway and her grandparents, Richard and Nancy Stover of Sherborn and Marilyn Sohoel of Brewster. She was the granddaughter of the late Eivind Sohoel.
Maddie is also survived by her aunts, Meredith Stover of Wellesley, Deborah Sohoel-Goldberg of Yarmouth and Kristin Sohoel-Smith and her husband Geoff of Tuscon, AZ, three cousins, Grace, Casey and Lindsey, her extended family and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Thursday, November 5 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
