Gee, Sandra Marie (Sheehan) 77, passed away on October 29, 2015, in Natick, MA (formerly of Weston, MA). Sandy was born on July 24, 1938, in Conneaut, OH; the daughter of the late Paul and Constance (Sands) Sheehan. She grew up in Conneaut and graduated from Case Western Reserve University.
Sandy will be remembered as a kind, helping, and peaceful soul, and we will forever cherish her smile, wonderful humor, and teaching us how to persevere. She loved working with and caring for children, traveling the world, going to the theatre and symphony, reading a good book lounging at the beach, and spending time with her many friends and family.
Survivors include her daughter Catherine (Bernie) Graney and their children Ayla and Paige; her son Robert (Elizabeth Peatman) and their children Hailey and Lindsay; and her son Christopher (Beth) and their children Sarah, Jamie, and Max. She is also survived by her sister Ann (Eugene) Seline and their children Eugene, Paul (Alexandra), and William, in addition to all the many friends and extended family who touched her life in one way or another. She was predeceased by her son Thomas "Tucky" Gee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on November 5 at 11:00 am from St. Julia Catholic Church at 374 Boston Post Road, Weston. Burial will follow the mass at Linwood Cemetery also in Weston. Relatives and friends may call at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home at 477 Washington Street, Wellesley, on November 4 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Weston METCO Scholarship Fund, Inc., 49 Bay State Road, Weston, MA 02493. The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dr. Timothy Murphy and his staff, the physicians and staffs of Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center, and Salmon VNA & Hospice, as well as all of the family, friends, and St. Julia's parishioners who offered their thoughts, prayers, love, and support.
