Obituary

Robert A. "Bobby" Plasse, 56, of Summit Street, Pawtucket, R.I. died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was surrounded by family.

Born in Providence, he was the first born son of the late Robert A. and Ann Amelia (Volpe) Plasse. He lived in Pawtucket for the past year and had previously resided in North Providence.

Robert is survived by his three siblings, Karen Ricci, Joseph Plasse and Marie Russillo, all of Johnston, his longtime companion Susan Boyd of Pawtucket, his nieces and nephew, Robin Hadayia and Michael Russillo, both of Johnston, Taylor Marcello, and Shea Kilroy, both of Coventry, as well as his great nephew, Alexander and his great niece, Angelina.

Robert was a successful businessman for twenty-five years, having owned both retail and commercial properties. He was happiest when he gathered with family and friends. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and his animated stories that would make you laugh for days. He loved to travel, but was never far from his beloved dogs, Jake and Luke.

Bobby, we will always carry your memory in our hearts and you will be forever missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 5-8pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
