Worcester: Pamela J. (Quist) Williams, 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center. She leaves 2 sons- Gregg M. Williams and his wife Jennifer of Worcester and Gary T. Williams and his partner Johnny Fuentes of Worcester; 3 grandchildren- Seth, Grace and Sophie Williams; 3 sisters- Meris Connors, Daryl Hebert, both of West Boylston, and Suzanne Pierson wife of Donald Pierson of Southbridge; several nieces and nephews and dear friend Beverly Champion. She was predeceased by her brother Richard W. Quist and granddaughter Allison Williams.
Pam was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Virginia (Peterson) Quist. She graduated from North High School class of 1964 and Ward Business School. She was a special police officer in the retail industry. She also worked as a horse trainer for many years and owned Williams Equestrian Center in North Brookfield.
She loved animals, especially horses, was very artistic and enjoyed an eclectic variety of music from Pavarotti to the Beatles.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A reception follows at 52 Country Club Boulevard, Worcester, MA. Burial will be at a later date in the Old Swedish Cemetery.
