Paul T. McBrearty, Sr., 53, of Derry, NH died May 30, 2005 at his home. Paul was born in Peabody, MA on November 10, 1951, a son of the late Edward C. and Virginia A. (Smith) McBrearty. He was raised in Salem, MA and lived for many years in Pepperell, MA before moving to Derry six years ago. Paul was employed by Hewlett Packard/Celestica Corp. for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed skiing, camping and was a tinkerer.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen M. (Murphy) McBrearty of Derry, two sons, Paul T. McBrearty, Jr. and Patrick M. McBrearty, both of Pepperell, three stepchildren, Deborah Cook of Danbury, NH, M. Scott Holden of Bridgton, ME, Anita L. Girroir of Plymouth, ME, five grandchildren, two brothers, Malin Ober of Beverly, MA, James McBrearty of Danvers, MA, one aunt, several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday June 2nd from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Cremation will follow. Private burial will be held in Pepperell.
