DOCIA ELLEN ASHLEY PAYTON, 94, passed away on October 30, 2015.
She was a native of Owensboro, KY., the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Hinton. She retired from Payton Warehouse.
Preceding her in death was her 1st husband, Wavy Ashley, her 2nd husband, Ira Payton, her grandson, Jerry Ashley, granddaughter, Ellen Decker, and great grandson, Christopher Decker.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Sanders (Elmer) and Ernest Ashley; stepchildren, Billy Jean Tilley (Dewey), Maxine Roberts, Bob Payton (Linda), Ronnie Payton and David Payton (Judy); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday.
