Pasqualina “Ida” Ventola, 76, passed away suddenly, Saturday May 28, at the Somerville Hospital. The wife of Sabino Ventola.
Born and raised in Taurasi, Italy she came to America in 1962 and settled in Somerville. She was devoted to raising her children and had a great passion for cooking for family and friends.
Along with her husband she is survived by her daughter Lidia DiPrizio and her husband Frank of Stoneham. Her daughter- in - law Carol Ventola of Westford. Also two loving grandchildren Jonathan DiPrizio and Tommy Ventola.
She was predeceased by her son Franco Ventola and a brother Antonio Giovino.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday June 2, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorne St. Somerville at 9. Services will conclude with burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
