Mrs. Claire J. (Emond) Goldrick, of Taunton, died on Thursday, October 29th 2015 in The Longmeadow of Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. She was born 79 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred (Olson) Emond. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Claire had been employed at Princess House, Inc. in North Dighton for 25 years. She enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, reading, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 son: Michael Goldrick and his wife Loretta of Taunton; 1 daughter: Robin Moitoza and her husband George of Dighton; 4 brothers: Kenneth Emond and Dennis Emond, both of Taunton, David Emond of Assonet, and Harold Emond of Bristol, R.I.; 1 sister: Vivian McCreadie of Taunton; 5 grandchildren, Kara Costa, Ashley Goldrick, Katie Goldrick, Michael Moitoza, and Jack Moitoza. 4 Great Grandchildren, Savannah Costa, Isaac Costa, Sophia Parker, and Benjamin Parker. and several nieces and nephews. Claire was also the sister of the late D. Richard Emond, Lawrence Emond, Normand J. Emond, and Rita Arieta.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Tuesday, November 3rd 2015, at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
