Kathleen M. Arruda, age 64 of Somerset, passed away on Oct. 30, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Michael & Josephine (Lema) Arruda. She had worked as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Brockton Visiting Nurses Association and was a parishioner of St. John of God Church. She was a member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of St. John of God Church, St. John of God Church Scholarship Committee, Food Pantry coordinator with the Church, and she was a Eucharistic Minister at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her 2 brothers: John E. Arruda (wife Barbara) of Taunton, and Michael Arruda Jr. (companion Kimmie Fegreus) of Grantville, GA; goddaughters: Maria (Silva) Marcucilli & Sylvia (Silva) Phipps; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
