Calvin B. Hood, age 89, a Tewksbury resident for 60 years, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Beloved husband of the late Alice R. (Dickson). Father of Wendy A. Hood of Nashua, NH and the late James C. Hood. Grandfather of Amy L. Bettencourt of Nashua, NH, Andrew J. Bettencourt of Raymond, NH and Michael J. Hood of Tewksbury. He also leaves his companion of 15 years, Pearl Willey of Lancaster, NH; his grandson Michael’s mother, Connie Morris of Tewksbury; one niece, three great nieces, and one great nephew.
Memorial visitation hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
