Robert Edward “Bob” – “Kinzo” King, 60, passed away after a short illness on October 9 in St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was the son of the late Harold F. and Violet (West) King.
Bobby was a longtime Franklin resident until moving to Florida in 1995.
He attended Franklin schools.
He had worked as a carpet installer for Creative Design of Franklin, King Philip Carpet of Wrentham and New York Carpet of Florida.
He also worked at many odd jobs.
Bobby loved playing, singing, writing and listening to music.
He enjoyed walks on the beach, going fishing and flea markets.
He is survived by his daughter Tammie Quintina and her husband Joe of Franklin.
His grandsons, James, Marcus, Anthony and Nickolas and his lifelong friend Debbie Lomberto of Franklin.
He is also survived by his brother Richard King and his wife Linda of Franklin and his sisters, Annette Cinto and her husband Charlie of Plymouth, and Shirley Lombardi and her husband Stephen “Lumpy” of Franklin.
He was also the uncle and godfather of the late Scott Lombardi and his special friend and niece Missy King of Blackstone and his niece Lisa and her husband Russ of Milford and Debbie Davis, and Frank Hamilton of Texas.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday November 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main street Franklin.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11-1; 00p.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
A gathering will be held at the Union Street Grille at 1:30 p.m.
