Julia (Buchka) DiBonaventura, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 peacefully in her home.
Her husband, Armand H. DiBonaventura died in 1966.
She leaves 2 sons; Gerald S. DiBonaventura and his wife Rachel of Palm Springs, CA., David J. DiBonaventura and his wife Patricia of Dudley, and Nancy N. DiBonaventura of Webster, 5 grandchildren; Chad, Erin, Lauren, Julianne, and Daniel, and 5 great grandchildren, also a brother, Thomas Baxter and his wife Mary of Webster, 2 sisters, Dorothy Sosnowski of Dudley and Hazel Buchka of Webster and many nieces and nephews.
Julia was also predeceased by a son, Daniel A. DiBonaventura who died in 1987, also 4 brothers, Anest’Clark’, Leon ‘Sonny’, Michael and Vasil ’Bill’ Buchka, 4 sisters, Olga Buchka, Martha Kenneway, Shirley Joliceur, and Alice Barry.
Julia was born in Webster, a daughter of Stathis and Stella ( Martiros) Buchka.
Julia enjoyed shopping and talking with family and friends, she also enjoyed walking her dog Kiara.
Julia’s Funeral will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:30AM in the ROBERT J. MILLER-FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
A Calling Hour will be Saturday from 9:30-10:30AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
