Higgins, Rev. John J., SJ in Weston on October 26, 2015. Formerly of Fairfield University from which he held various administrative positions for many years. He also held positions at Chevrus High School, Portland Maine, College of The Holy Cross and was socius twice to the Provincial from 1976-1979 and 1979-1994. Beloved son of the late John J. and Mary K. (Finn) Higgins. Brother of Thomas J. Higgins of Marstons Mills, James J. Higgins of Yarmouth Port and Eileen F. Fitzgerald of South Yarmouth. Father is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his many Jesuit Brothers. Reposing at Campion Center, 319 Concord Rd., WESTON. Visiting Hours Tuesday November 3 from 3-5 pm with a prayer service at 4:30 pm. Concelebrated Funeral Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Campion Center on Wednesday November 4 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Campion Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jesuit Community, Campion Center 319 Concord Rd.
