Michael Lillis
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 26, 2015, Mr. Michael “Mike” Joseph Lillis, 60, loving husband to Jo Anne Lillis.
Mike was a member of Central Church of Christ and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked for Georgia Power as a safety inspector, Life Care as an emergency medical technician, and then for the last 27 years he has worked for the Richmond County Board of Education as an inventory control specialist.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his son: Kevin M. Lillis; brothers: Paul Lillis (Patti), Bill Lillis (Judy), Tom Lillis (Pam), and Bob Lillis (Amy); sisters: Marty Sanfilippo (Joe) and Terri Lillis; in-laws: Roy Bush (Wilma); brothers-in-law: David Bush (LeeAnn) and Dwayne Fulks (Glenna); numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Loretta Lillis, and brother, Jim Lillis.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Central Church of Christ, 3650 Old Petersburg Rd., Martinez, GA 30907, with Scott Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
