Obituary

Dallas E. Williams passed away on Oct. 25, 2015, at his home. He is in a better place as he had been battling many health problems for years. He is now at peace with his parents, brother, nephew and stepdaughter.

Born in Newport News, Va., on May 18, 1946, he had lived in Connecticut for almost 30 years. He worked at Newport News Shipbuilding as a construction supervisor and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Constance (Silva) Banks-Williams; three sons, Michael and his two children of North Carolina, Matthew of Virginia, and Mark (Crystine) and son, Camryn, of New London; by his stepchildren and step-grandchildren. He was very close to Mark and Camryn, who just turned two and was the apple of his grandpa's eye. He was also close to his stepdaughter, Amy (Banks) Everett and her two daughters, Ruthie and Faith. He is also survived by a brother Jeff of Virginia.

He was surrounded for years by his many friends who were there when needed for chats, rides, handicapped ramps, trips to the "toy store", lunch, coffee at Beebe's Dairy, Tim Horton's and McDonalds, and who were there when any help was needed.

There will be no calling hours or services at his request.

He did request donations, if you feel the need, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , or that you do a good deed for someone in need.
