Claire Theresa Landry, 68, of Derry, NH, died Monday October 26, 2015 at her home. She was born in Lewiston, ME on March 29, 1947, a daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Berube) Lagasse. She had been a resident of Derry since 1981, formerly living in Maine where she attended Lewiston schools. Besides working at many restaurants and department stores, Claire loved knitting, playing Bingo with friends, taking day trips, and spending time especially with family.
She is survived by two daughters, Doreen Kenney and her husband Steve of Weare, NH, and Susan Cordeiro and her husband Jeffrey of Litchfield, NH; two granddaughters, Kalie and Tia; as well as her sister, Susan Cottle of Lisbon, ME; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Normand R. Landry in 2010, and her brother, Ronald Lagasse in 2012.
The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors who were so kind.
Following cremation, she will be buried with her husband in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
