Louise E. (Paine) Williams, age 95, of Winchester, passed away at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester on Oct. 26, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund A. Williams. Born in Medford, Louise was the daughter of the late Robert and Jennie (Reggio) Paine. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 1938. After high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served during WWII. It was in the Coast Guard in New York that she met Edmund Williams, who would later become her husband. Upon discharge, they settled in Winchester and raised their family. Louise worked as a Dental Assistant for many years. In Winchester, Louise was part owner of Colonial Perfumers. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, especially sweaters and mittens for her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund A. Williams, and the loving mother of Edmund A. Williams, Jr. of Medway, Ellen Casalinuovo and her husband Richard of Winchester. Louise was also the dear sister of the late Robert S. Paine, the devoted grandmother of Michael Casalinuovo, Cheryl (Casalinuovo) Vozzella, Lea (Casalinuovo) Rust, Marissa (Williams) Mahan, and Rachel (Williams) Morgan, and is further survived by 9 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Friday, Oct. 30 at 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Service at 1PM. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Aberjona Nursing Home – Activities Fund, 184 Swanton St., Winchester, MA 01890.
