Clotilde Arruda, age 94, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday October 25, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Antone and Maria (Motta) Pimental and wife of the late Felipe Arruda. Clotilde enjoyed to do various types of needlework, an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Hospital, and the Veterans Association and loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Martha Melo, Joseph Arruda, Christine Duclos, and Eva Arruda all of Fall River, sister; Maria Sousa of Fall River, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and 5 nieces. She was also the sister of the late Antone Faria, and grandmother of the late Joseph (Joey) Arruda II.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M.
