Obituary

George F. Wells, 69, of Medway died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Margaret E. “Peggy” (Walsh) Wells who died in 2012.

Born in Boston on June 6, 1946, he was the son of the late William Wells and Theresa (Egersheim) Cushing.

Mr. Wells was a resident of Medway since 1973 and formerly resided in Jamaica Plain.

He proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Wells earned a Masters Degree in Education and in Instructional Media from the former Boston State College.

Before his retirement, he was the owner of Comtech AV in Medway.

Mr. Wells was a member of the Randolph Elks Club. He earned his private pilots certificate and loved flying small aircrafts.

He is survived by two sons, David Wells and his fiancée Heather Catalini of Medway and George Wells, Jr. and his wife Rosa of Roslindale and four grandchildren, DJ, Rachel, George and Michael Wells.

He is also survived by two brothers Robert Wells of Texas and Hubert “Bill” Cushing of New Hampshire, two sisters Elise Feetham and her husband Albert of Avon and Vera Galeas of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Patricia Harworth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Thursday, October 29 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m.
