Obituary

Steve Yadlovski, 93, of Norwood, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Harrington House in Walpole. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Reardon) Yadlovski for 65 years.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on February 2, 1922, he was a son of the late Josef and Julia (Rujak) Yadlovski.

Mr. Yadlovski was a resident of Norwood since 1985 and formerly resided in Elizabeth, NJ.

He proudly served in the Army during WWII and prior to that worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Mr. Yadlovski spent the last 35 years in retirement from Harts Products and the US Postal Service in New Jersey.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Steven Yadlovski and his wife Susan of Hackettstown, NJ, Elaine Weigl and her husband Don of Barnegat, NJ and Carol Hart and her husband Jim of Ashland.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jason Yadlovski and his wife Tiffany of Florham, NJ, Eric Yadlovski and his wife Christina of East Hanover, NJ and Steven Yadlovski of San Diego, CA and six great-grandchildren, Callen, Lucas, Desiree, Olive, Kendal and Lacey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 28 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St. in Norwood at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Christian Service Fund c/o St. Timothy Parish, 650 Nichols St., Norwood, MA 02062 or to the Missionary Society of St. James the Apostle, 24 Clark St. Boston, MA 02109.
