Obituary

Warren Gerard Gagan, 85, a 51-year resident of Winchester and Osterville, passed away at Lahey Clinic on Oct. 24, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Anne Marie (Brennan) Gagan.

Born in Jamaica Plain, Warren was the son of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Gildea) Gagan. He attended Boston Latin High School, Boston College and Boston College Law School. Mr. Gagan was a Lieutenant in The U.S. Navy and served during The Korean War.

Mr. Gagan was employed by IBM, State Street Bank and BLH for many years. In his spare time, Warren loved to follow all Boston sports, particularly The Red Sox and The B.C. Eagles. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, at the family home in Osterville.

In addition to his loving wife, Anne, he leaves behind his loving children: Joseph Mark Gagan of Woburn. Sarah Anne Flickinger and her husband Richard of Magnolia, MA. He was also the dear brother of Leo Gagan of Dublin, Ireland and the late Joan Giroux, and is further survived by his grandchildren:
Olivia Caroline Gagan, Joseph Harding Gagan, Cormac Brennan Flickinger and Colbi Hannah Flickinger.

His funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home 177 Washington St., Winchester on Friday, Oct. 30th at 10AM followed by Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Thurs. from 4-8PM. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the St. Mary’s Afterschool Program, 133 School St., Waltham, MA 02451.
