Elise J. (Vilt) Goulet, 58, of Kenwood St., died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was born in Joliet, IL, a daughter of Robert J. and Marcienne E. (Frappier) Vilt. She was the life partner of Dr. Daniel Becker. Elise was the owner and operator of Fontana’s Flowers and Greenhouses Inc. for the past seventeen years. She was also a former employee of Pawtucket Country Club and was a much beloved employee of Kirkrae Country Club for many years. Elise loved cooking, especially during the holidays, and hosted and entertained her family every year at Christmas, her favorite holiday. She enjoyed playing tennis, and was a member of Fore Court for many years. She also was fond of listening to Celine Dion, and especially loved the beach and being with people.
Elise is also survived by her sons; Jeffrey Goulet and his wife Amy, Timothy Goulet and Adam Goulet all of Woonsocket, a daughter, Annika Becker of Newport News, VA, two brothers: Gregory Vilt of Bellingham, and Anthony Vilt of Woonsocket, a sister, Rosanne Hayden of Woonsocket and three grandchildren, Jason, Abigail, and Jasper “Baby”. She was also the sister of the late Michelle Chevrette.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
