Justine A. Fitzgerald Juarez, 84, of North Andover, Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lawrence on April 28th, 1931, daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Leecock) Fitzgerald. Justine was educated in North Andover and received her Bachelor Degree from Wellesley College and her Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University. She worked at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts for 20 plus years and was Dean of Continuing Education.
Her family members include her children Thomas Juarez of NJ, Justine Corson of NH, John Fitzgerald and his wife Mary Ellen of MA., Mark Fitzgerald of MA, Frank Juarez and his wife Christina of NH, Richard Fitzgerald of FL.
Her grandchildren: Rachel, Brian, Blake, Matthew, Kevin, Sean, Damien, Heather, Calia, Jeffrey, Jessica, Connor, Shayne, and the late Mitchell and their mother Taylor Simpson of MA.
Her sisters: Constance Driscoll of FL and Joan Bayer of CA.
Her nieces and nephews: Francis (Honey-Bunch), Martha, Sally, Maribeth, Janet, David and Douglas.
After her retirement, she taught English in many cities in China, where she was very appreciated by all her beloved Chinese friends: Hu Yingwei (Ivan) of Bejing, Li Rui E, of Harbin, Yan Nahao of Australia, Hai Xia Hao (Alice) of Tianjin, Chen Hao (Frank) of Chongqing, Yang Xiao Cheng (Monarch) of Tianjin and Justin.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Saint Michaels Church, North Andover, Massachusetts. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
