Chrysoula P. (Athanasiadis) Voyiatzis, 81, of Worcester, died Saturday, October 24th in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, with her family at her side. Her husband of 40 years, Ioannis Voyiatzis died in 1994. She is survived by three sons, Dimitrios Voyiatzis and his wife, Joanna of Worcester, Petros Voyiatzis and his wife, Ronna of Leominster and Alexandros Voyiatzis and his wife, Maria of Worcester; two sisters, Dorothea Andoniadis of Hrisohorafa, Greece and Katina Kapoukranidis of Thesaloniki, Greece; seven grandchildren, John, Nicholas, John, Alex, Ioannis, Vasilios and Demitrios and his wife, Ashlee Voyiatzis. Her sister, Rodi Yiantsidis predeceased her.
She was born in Hrisohorafa, Greece the daughter of Petros and Maria (Karamitros) Athanasiadis. Mrs. Voyiatzis was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton Alexander The Great.
Her funeral is Tuesday, October 27th with a service at 10:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
