Drew Tyler Decuir, 23, of Kingwood, TX, and formerly of Franklin, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at his home in Texas. He was the son of Mitchell A. Decuir of Texas and Carol M. (Margherini) Decuir of Franklin.
Drew was born on April 1, 1992 in Fairfield, CA and moved to Franklin in 1994. He attended the Franklin Elementary Schools and graduated from Franklin High School in 2010, where he was the kicker on the Franklin H.S. Football Team. Drew also attended the Paul J. Primavera Educational Center in Bellingham. He moved to Texas in 2013, where his Dad was residing.
Drew loved hanging out with his many friends, riding dirt bikes, fishing, and working on his beloved car. Drew had an outgoing and captivating personality and was loved by everyone who came across his path. He had a kind and sweet nature about him, and he will be sorely missed.
In addition to his parents, Drew is survived by his grandparents, Tullio C. Margherini and Josephine (Morrone) Margherini of Norwood, NJ; his uncle, Kenneth Margherini, and his wife, Mary of Madison, NJ; an aunt, Diane (Margherini) Ciolino, and her husband, John, and his cousin, Denise Ciolino of Howell, NJ.
Visiting hours will be held Tues. October 27, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin.
Funeral services will be held Wed. October 28, 2015 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Parish, 1 Church Square, Franklin.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver St., Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Drew’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
