James Richard Fitzpatrick, age 97, of Westfield, Massachusetts passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born December 18, 1917 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Frederick and Agnes (Monahan) Fitzpatrick. He was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant during WWII.
Mr. Fitzpatrick worked as a Plant Engineer and for the Springfield Sheriff's Department.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Louise (Peccerillo) Fitzpatrick.
and his nieces and nephew: Helena Miller wife of Andrew of Lawrence, MA, Joann Cassidy wife of Richard Goetz of Punta Gorda, FL, James Cassidy of Lynchburg, VA, and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. His funeral mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen, MA. Burial will take place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
