Carmela Agri, age 97, of Woburn past away May 27th at the Lexington Health Care Center following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Luigi Agri. Born in Sicily, Italy she was the daughter of the late Angela (Pisari) and Sebastian Patti.
Mrs. Agri was a Woburn resident for thirty years. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who loved to be surrounded with her family. She was also a past member of the St. Agreppina Society.
In addition to her husband and parents, Carmela is predeceased by her daughter Angela LoNigro, her two sons, Giuseppe and Giuseppe Agri. She is also Predeceased by her brother Mario Patti and sisters, Marianna Lalicata and Josephine Sturzo. She is survived by her daughter, Marianna Damigella of Italy, two sons, Sebastian Agri of Malden and Guy Agri of Woburn. She is also survived by eleven loving grandchildren and sixteen loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
