New Bedford – Marjorie (Leger) Milosek, 81, of New Bedford died May 27, 2005 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility after a long illness. She was the widow of Walter E. Milosek.
Mrs. Milosek was born in Marion, daughter of the late Phillip E. and Cora E. (Parker) Leger, and resided in New Bedford and Fairhaven most of her life. She was employed for over 30 years as a fish skinner by various local fish houses. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing cards but most of all loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Sandra L. Braga and her husband Robert and Susan M. Milosek and her companion Herc Vaz all of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Walter E. Leger of New Bedford and Paul E. Leger of Florida; 2 sisters: Evelyn M. Stewart of New Bedford and Miriam F. Sylvia of Fairhaven; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and her lifelong friend: Gil Ambra of Fairhaven.
She was mother of the late Joyce Sylvia, Sharon Milosek and Ronald Milosek and sister of the late Daisy Bernier, Phillip Leger and Steven Leger.

Funeral service on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion, MA.
