Brigitte C. “Kitty” Niebergall, age 87, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015. She was born on Sept. 16, 1928 in Bad Bibra, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Wilham and Charlotte (Porep) Niebergall. Kitty worked as a groomer for an animal clinic for many years before she retired. She leaves 4 sons, Bob Boucher of Palmer, Wes Boucher and his wife Tammy of Chicopee, Jed Boucher of Chicopee and Ted Boucher and his wife Crystal of South Hadley; 1 daughter, Denise A. Boucher of Chicopee; She leaves behind her sister Renate Moore and family in McAllen Texas, relatives in Germany and her best friend Brigette, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the father of her children Archie Boucher, her sister Inge & two brothers Heinz & George. She is now with her lifelong companion Dr Harold Kalter, her son Mark, and her many dogs. She spent countless hours in her yard gardening and painting. She had a heart of gold which was reflected through her strong but gentle German hands. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, Oct 23, 2015 from 3 to 8 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Memorial Service to take place at 5 PM. Burial will be private.
