Charles A. Holubiak, 71, of Derry, NH, died Monday October 19, 2015 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Boston, MA on May 18, 1944, a son of the late Stephen and Phyllis (Cataldo) Holubiak. He had been a resident of Derry since 1990, formerly living in Japan and Boston, MA. Charles was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He had been employed as an engineer for General Electric, retiring in 2006. Charles was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed dabbling in the stock market.
He is survived by his wife, Kyomie (Muramoto) Holubiak of Derry; his son, Stephen Holubiak of Hooksett, NH; two grandchildren; three sisters, Maria Rosato of Danvers, MA, Eleanor Hardy of Ossipee, NH, and MaryEllen Carpenter of Danvers, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Friday, October 23rd from 9 - 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service followed at 11:00am in the funeral home. The burial was held in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
