MARY ALICE NEEDHAM
Mary Alice Needham beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born November 28, 1924 in Escanaba, Michigan. Mary
Alice graduated from St Joseph High School in 1942 and attended one year of nursing school. She was married to her high school sweetheart, “Bud” Needham on June 3, 1944 and enjoyed 65 years of marriage until his passing on Nov 4, 2009. Mary Alice is survived by her four children Mary Lynn St Cyr, Des Moines Iowa, Janis (Larry Du
Boise), Prescott Valley, Arizona, Diane (Mason Wolpert), Camarillo, Rich (Julie Needham) Ventura, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mary Alice worked over 30 years as a customer service representative in JC Penney’s credit department. She was involved in several service groups including Catholic
Daughters and Young Ladies Institute (YLI) and earned her 25 year pin from Community Memorial Hospital for her “Pink Ladies” volunteer service. Her greatest joy in life was
spending time with family. She also enjoyed Green Bay Packer games, a good game of cards and her kitty “Molly”. Mary Alice had a giving spirit that inspired all who crossed
her path.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday October 22, 2015 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11am on Friday October 23, 2015 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 3175 Telegraph Road Ventura. Burial will follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
The family extends heir heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation to Jerri and Amanda, Hospice of the Pines, Prescott Valley, AZ for their compassionate care.
