Glenda K. Ferrari passed away peacefully in her Oxnard home surrounded by loved Friday, October 16, 2015.
“Yes, please” and “thank you, Darling,” expressions of a unique and wonderful woman. Whether playing wife, mom, grandma, friend or real estate broker, these are the words that we will all miss.
Glenda’s life began in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was a true military brat and lived in many places around the world. She loved and helped to raise her 5 siblings before she left home and met her husband, Rusty. They shared 42 wonderful years together. Rusty came with 2 children and together they had 3 more. She adored being a mother. You could always depend on her caring and sound advice.
We all knew her true love was her real estate business that she constantly nurtured. After becoming an agent in the 80’s, she partnered up and bought her own office. Glenda worked 7 days a week to help hundreds of people fulfill their dreams. She made friends easily and still holds onto those friendships today. We could not be more proud to call her ours.
After the kids flew the coup, she and Rusty bought a Harley and took trips whenever and wherever they wished. Her favorite pastime was on the back of that Harley.
Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved them all as they made her smile and laugh like a little girl again.
She will be missed by so many, especially her husband Rusty, children; Cristy, Andy, Renee, Machalle and Annette, and grandchildren; Chris, Rebecca, Alexis, Renee, Bjorn, Wyatt and Taryn; great-grandchildren; Braden, Addison, Aubrey and Alexander.
We love you Darling…. We will miss you for the rest of our lives.
Family and friends are invited to Memorial Services to to celebrate Glenda's Life on Sunday afternoon October 25, 2015 at 2pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura.
