In Boston, October 17, 2015 Howard R. “Bobby” Keith Jr., Age 69, passed away in Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, following a brief period of failing health. Howard was born in Quincy, the son of the late Howard R. Keith Sr. and Barbara A. (Craig) Keith. He has resided in Taunton since 2010 and was formerly of Abington. Bobby served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at the former Mass Respiratory Hospital and Kindred Healthcare in Braintree as a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse and a respiratory therapist until his retirement. Bobby was a communicant of the St. Ann’s Church where he was a member of the Choir he was also a member of the Taunton Civic Chorus. He loved animals and cherished his time with family and friends. Bobby leaves his siblings Michael Keith and his wife Carol of Harwichport, Patricia Quinlan and her husband Michael of Dover, NH, Barbara Durkee and her husband Horace of Orono, ME and Mark Keith and his wife Carol of Cape Coral, FL. Bobby also leaves several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA, 02780 on Thursday, October 22nd at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be at the Bourne National Cemetery at 1:15 pm. Donations in Bobby’s memory may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mass Humane Society, Inc. 87 Wharf St., P.O.
